PROJECT UNITY USA is asking everyone that lives, works, plays, or knows anyone that lives in the North Columbia area to attend a very important Press Conference today at 3:00pm at Bell Memorial Baptist Church, located at 7205 Farrow Road, Columbia SC

If the safety of your children, family, friends, the elderly, and yourself are important to you, then you need to make your way to this meeting.

We have invited the following community representatives to be at this meeting/press conference:

Richland County Council:
Councilperson Yvonne McBride
Councilperson Paul Livingston

City of Columbia
Mayor Dan Rickenmann
Councilperson Edward McDowell, Jr.
Councilperson Tina N. Herbert

Sheriff Leon Lott - Richland County Sheriffs Department
Chief W. H. “Skip” Holbrook - City of Columbia Police Department
Deputy Chief Melron Kelly - City of Columbia Police Department (Homegrown)

Representatives:
Senator Lindsey Graham
Senator Tim Scott
Congressman Jim Clyburn
Senator John Scott
Governor Henry McMaster

We just figure that these are the folks that come to our community when they want our vote, now we need them to keep their promise to represent, now that we are in need of their assistance.

YOU and your family and friends are urged to be at this meeting.
Project Unity USA will be presenting:
1. CWSS-RAPTOR a county-wide camera system introduce to the City of Columbia back in 2009.
2. Our plan to help our youth stay out of trouble.
3. What our community has done and needs to continue to do to make our community safe
4. What we are requesting of our representatives
5. Changes in laws as it pertains to repeat offenders and bail.
