Project Unity USA, a 501c3 non profit organization is based out of Columbia, South Carolina. Founded in August of 2006 by Mr. Bruce A. Trezevant as a result of the rise in violent crimes in the community he grew up in and where his mother still lives.
Mr. Trezevant a former Los Angeles Police Officer and Richland County Deputy Sheriff fought crime on both sides of the country and consistently found that building strong safe communities begins with UNITY. Unity between Community members, Law Enforcement, Clergy, Media, and Business. Criminals and people who wish to do wrong in a community have little to no power to degrade a community when the five groups come together.
The vision of Mr. Trezevant for Project Unity USA is to sweep though high crime communities, teaching and encouraging these 5 groups to work together and reducing crime, helping to make communities a safer place to live, work and play.
Our three main focus issues are: Violent crimes in communities, Domestic Violence, and Human Trafficking.
Since our conception we have been credited with the capture and conviction of 11 homicide suspects, assisting more than 1245 family members that were victims of domestic violence, Installed surveillance cameras in 15 communities, assisted 28 communities in Hot Spot issues, brought 9 youth that were victims of Human trafficking back home. We have hosted numerous events to unify communities.
We are asking you to join us as we go forth in making a change. You can join us by donating or volunteering when you see or hear about events or programs that we host.
MAKING THE CHANGE IN YOUR COMMUNITY STARTS WITH YOU....
